My Journey With Reiki

I first became aware of my abilities as a natural healer after practicing bodywork on some friends. Some of them commented on how "hot" my palms would get, and others mentioned feeling the "energy" flowing from my hands. At the time, being a left-brained, literal thinker, I would thank them for their compliments and move on without giving it much thought. However, these comments became more consistent over time.

One day, a bodywork client asked if I practiced Reiki. I explained that I had no idea what Reiki was and had never heard of it. The client shared a little about the practice and suggested that I look into it. I thanked them and said I would, but I got busy with my day and pretty much forgot about it. When another client made the same suggestion almost verbatim a couple days later, something finally clicked. I realized that the Universe was sending me a clear message, and I needed to explore Reiki further. I went on to experience Reiki myself and eventually became certified.

Today, I view Reiki as more than just a healing technique – it's a path to self-discovery, empowerment, and spiritual growth. With a deep respect for the ancient wisdom of Reiki, combined with modern practices, I offer a safe and nurturing space for clients to explore their inner realms, release energy blockages, and cultivate a sense of balance and vitality in their lives.
